Today is Friday, 10/27/2023
We are through ¼ of the school year now. It’s so hard to believe that we are already at the end of our 1st marking period. Monday will start the 2nd marking period.
Today is Popcorn Friday. Teachers, please send up your popcorn envelopes so we know how much popcorn to make.
Our Halloween parade will begin at 9:30. Students will be able to trick or treat around the school. There will be about 5 stops along the way. Then students will go back to their classrooms to have their party.
I hope that everyone enjoys themselves today. However, you still need to show your good Cardinal PRIDE all day. You don’t want to miss out on any fun activities today.

Today is Parent/Teacher Conferences. They will be from 12:30-7:00. We will have a ½ day of school on today and tomorrow. We release at 11:20.
We will have our Halloween celebrations on Friday, 10/27. The parade around the school will begin at 9:30 and then students will be going back to their classrooms for their individual parties. Students may wear their costumes to school or bring them to change into.

Please remember that we do go outside every day unless it is raining. Be sure that you are wearing a coat and ready to be outside. If you have lost a coat or jacket, be sure to check the hall across from the office. There are several coats that have been lost hanging there.

We have our Scholastic Book Fair coming next week. Students will be able to purchase books only on their library day. Please do NOT bring money on a day other than your library day. Some of your library visits have been moved in order to allow everyone to have a chance to purchase books. Also, the Book Fair will be open during Parent/Teacher conferences on Thursday.
Monday will be our first Bible Release Day. You must have your permission slip in before you will be able to go.

Our trip to the fire station is today! We will be learning about fire safety. Students be sure to show your good Cardinal PRIDE while you are on the trip.

Route 9 will be about 1 hour late this morning due to mechanical issues.

Students, please remember that we all want to come to a clean school. When you are in the bathroom, please remember the expectations…go, flush, wash, leave. Please be sure that when you go into the bathrooms, you are not making a mess for others to have to clean up. Do NOT put paper in the sinks and leave the water running. Do NOT throw paper on the floor, Do NOT throw water at each other. Again, when you go to the bathroom, be sure that you go, flush, wash, and leave. Let’s all do our part, follow the expectations, and help to make our school the best it can be.

Thursday, October 12th is an early release day for all of Bloomingdale Public Schools. MSHS 11:10 am BE/PE 11:20 am.
MSHS will have conferences on Thursday.
MSHS Conferences will be 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm to 7:15 pm. Conferences will be hosted in the Middle School gym. Enter at the MS. No appointment is necessary.
Elementary Conferences will not take place until Oct. 26th.

On Tuesday, October 17th we will have two Bond Community Event Presentations at 6:00 p.m. (English Presentation) and 7:00 p.m. (Spanish Presentation).
